Adventures in Living

This is a blog about our family. Our motto is "Adventures in Living". Here we will write about all the big adventures, mis-adventures, and ordinary ever-day adventures we come across. We continually live by the rule: "It's not an Adventure until things start going Wrong!" But, we always enjoy the ride anyway!

Pumpkin Patch

On the 20th we went to the Rocky Mountain Pumpkin Patch, our favorite pumpkin patch ever! We've been going there for quite a few years now. They have tons of pumpkins, fun stuff for the kids, and LOTS of yummy food. We always have to get some apple cider and pumpkin bread, it's the best!

We were walking around and a little boy ran straight up to me and said "Jessie". It was Augie! We were so suprised to see them there, we didn't know they were coming and they didn't know we were coming. It's about a 45 min drive from Greeley, so we didn't think many people from here went to this pumpkin patch. It was great to see the boys enjoying everything. Our friends Tim and Betony were there the same day too. Doyle was telling Tim that we were probably the only 4 people there without kids and Tim said we're probably having the most fun too!

Doyle is the corn maze.

Me in the pumpkin patch. That's my fat pumpkin!

Doyle in the pumpkin patch, I love all the orange around him! His pumpkin is the tall skinny one!

Washing off my pumpkin, of course I picked a dirty one! The guy weighing the pumpkins asked me if I was trying to steal one under my shirt!

Doyle's decepticon pumpkin. We decided to carve Transformers this year. He took the easy one!

My autobots pumpkin. It was sooooo hard to get the little pieces!

Here's an actual picture of the autobot and decepticon logos. I think we did pretty well!
